Gus was a photographer, artist, and cartographer from Northeast Harbor, Maine. He published and sold hundreds of postcards of Maine in the 1960’s. This follows his wanderings about Maine, exploring Gus’s biography and Maine’s history using Cathy, John, and Ben’s writing, Ben’s cartography, historical photos, and John’s modern photos of these ares as a contrast.
